Elise, a single mother of two beautiful children and someone that I feel honored to call a friend.
I nominate Elise as an Inspirational Mother. I have only known Elise for a few years, but as many of you know time doesn’t define friendship. Elise has been an inspiration since the first time I met her and continues to do so with her perseverance, attitude and drive.
Everyone at the very least, probably knows a single mother. It’s not an easy job, but Elise is doing a fantastic job! She has two fun, active and well behaved kids. Most importantly, there is no doubt that she loves them and they love her.
Between work and family she also finds time to be a singer/song writer. A while back she asked me to tell my friends about her Facebook Page. Before I did, I asked her what her motivation was. I remember her telling me, “It’s something that I love doing. I just want to share my music with other people and if they enjoy it, that’s enough for me”.
Life threw a very unfortunate challenge her way, as she was sexually assaulted. What did she do? Took the bull by the horns and wrote a song, sang and produced a video called You’re Gonna Pay to help bring awareness to others!
This young mother continues to be an inspiration with life and music. Vote for Elise!
